I love getting albums printed, I think it is essential to get those photos off of the computer and into an album that you can really appreciate. Photographs don’t really come to life fully until they are printed, there is something tangible and real to a proper photographic print, and it makes a wonderful family heirloom.
I use a UK based supplier called Folio for all of my album printing; they are a very high quality supplier of handmade albums and they only supply professional photographers. Their albums are a real tactile pleasure, with proper thick art paper, lay-flat seams, and they reproduce fantastically vibrant colours and wonderfully contrasty black & whites. It really is in a different world to a cheap album from a supermarket.
You can place an order for an album anytime, before or after your wedding, so don’t feel the need to fret about it if you aren’t sure what you want. If you feel that you would like to create your own album, then I actively encourage you to do so, it can be a very rewarding experience, however, do not underestimate how long it will take you! There are a huge number of album suppliers at a wide range of price points, so there is something out there for everyone.

I will then design the layouts and upload them to an album-proofing site for you to check, and make any comments/revision requests until you are happy and then I will place the order.

(these albums measure at 12x12inch square and open out with a lay flat seam, the paper is thick 200gsm art paper. You have a choice of leather, cotton or fabric covers, and get 2 lines of text engraved on the front cover. The album is presented in a natural cotton bag and a thick cardboard presentation box to keep it clean and safe, and is posted to you recorded delivery)
