An Outdoor Wedding at Cosawes Barton

This was one of the most fun weddings I’ve ever been a part of, at the lovely Cosawes Barton…

Emmie & Sam’s wedding day was one that I’d looked forward to for a long time. I knew straight from the day they booked that it was going to be a relaxed, fun and beautiful wedding day, and Cosawes Barton proved to be the perfect backdrop for it.

My day started with a trip to Swanpool beach with Sam and the boys for a dip! So funny to photograph them diving in! I’m always up for something a little different on the wedding day, and this was a perfect way to start the day off. Then I headed back to Cosawes Barton for preparations. It wasn’t the usual wedding timeline, as this wedding involved not one but two ceremonies! The first wedding ceremony was the legal one, and was a small intimate affair with only a handful of their friends and family. After a quick pitstop for some food and drink in one of the gardens, they then headed outside into the orchards at Cosawes Barton for the big ceremony, led by the wonderful Cornish Celebrants. This was stunning and a joy to witness, with plenty of emotion and laughs out in the glorious sunshine! Breaking up the day like this and having an individual timeline that suits you is something that I highly recommend doing.

This was followed by drinks and relaxation in the sun, tons of spacehopper carnage, a few portraits around the grounds, some funny speeches, more spacehoppers, a visit to see Emmie & Sam’s sweet little pooch Rio and some mad dancefloor action!

Emmie and Sam were so much fun and just smiled and laughed their way through the whole day! A mention must also go to Jenny Wren, wedding planner extraordinaire, for keeping things ticking along happily! Cosawes Barton is one of my favourite venues and it was awesome to go back there again – a highly recommended venue.

I’ll let the images do the rest of the talking, but if you are getting married at Cosawes Barton, then please get in touch today to have a chat about your plans. Here’s another wedding that I covered at Cosawes Barton, and was in fact the venue’s first ever wedding!

Enough from me, scroll down and enjoy!
