Chypraze Farm Wedding Day

Vicky & Tom held their relaxed wedding day at Chypraze Farm in Morvah. A rustic wedding barn conversion on a small farm on the rugged west coast of Cornwall near Penzance. A wild, atmospheric setting, with geese strutting about and the farm situated right on the edge of the striking and dramatic coastline of the area. It’s just a short walk from Portheras Cove with it’s crashing waves and rocks.  They offer rustic local food and a warm greeting from the staff; it’s a lovely, homely wedding venue.

Vicky & Tom’s wedding day

Relaxed and informal, that’s what Vicky & Tom wanted from their wedding day, and that’s what they got! It was such a lovely atmosphere, with everyone in good spirits and happy to be celebrating with the lovely couple. It was a pleasure to be involved.

After starting with Vicky at a nearby holiday home on the coast for bridal preparations, we headed over for the intimate ceremony in the Chypraze wedding barn. Some epic hugs and plenty of confetti followed!

A strong fog settled in for pretty much the whole day, so unfortunately we couldn’t see the coast, despite being right next to it!

After some drinks, funny speeches and delicious dinner, the couple and I decided to try our chances down the path to the beach! We’d had some bad weather in the run up to the wedding, so the path was uncharacteristically muddy, but we picked our way through! I’m so glad we did! It was so nice to see the stunning Portheras Cove and we were rewarded with a seal sighting. The path down is actually really beautiful too, with a lovely little stream and some slight scrambling over rocks required!

We headed back in time for dancing and celebrations, which continued until late. A perfect end to the day.
