Cornish Camels at Rosuick Farm
Rosuick Farm, aka Cornish Camels, is a charming and certainly unique wedding venue on the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall, near Helston. With three licensed ceremony areas, loads of space to roam, beautiful surroundings and buildings with tons of character; it has lots to offer as a wedding venue. Oh and camels, did I mention it has CAMELS!
Cornish Camels Wedding Venue
Cornish Camels has three licensed ceremony spaces; the Corn Chamber, a tiny but characterful 15th century building, the Wagon House and the Camel Centre itself. They also have several other spaces that would work very well for a humanist ceremony or similar, as you can see in Chrissie & Farshid’s wedding below, which took place in the gardens instead.
The Camel Centre
The Camel Centre is a huge indoor space, with tons of light, that can cater for up to 150 seated guests and 200 for the evening celebration. With farm meadows alongside it and the light streaming in in the late afternoon light is really special. It’s also where you can view the camels from as you will see later in the post!
Chrissie & Farshid’s Wedding Day
I felt particularly privileged to be photographing this wedding, as the bride Chrissie is actually the venue owners (Chris & Jan’s) daughter. I was hired after shooting another wedding there a few months before and I really appreciated the trust put into me to capture Chrissie & Farshid’s day!
It was a spectacular event, with everyone looking very glamorous, and a huge amount of effort had gone into the decorations and it really showed.
Please do get in touch if you are holding your wedding day at Cornish Camels, I’d love to work there again!

p.s. I almost forgot to mention I had the fab Paul Keppel as my photography wingman at this wedding, who did a great job!
