A sunshine-filled, crazy-festival, DIY-barn, absolute corker of a wedding day!
Some weddings are just a bit nuts! Emily & Jack’s was definitely one of them. They crammed a load of party-mad folk into a barn on Emily’s family farm, with some banging music and a DIY festival vibe, and then enjoyed the carnage!
With everything in the local area of Newton St Petrock, a charming little village, I started my day at the farmhouse with Emily and her squad, before heading over to a nearby holiday let with Jack and his gang. As you can see in the lead image, Emily chose to walk down the road to the local church, with her gang of besties in tow; an ace idea. They looked amazing strutting down through the village!
Waiting for her at the church was Jack of course, and after a lovely, emotional ceremony they jumped in Jack’s classic mini to beat the guests back to the farm. A ton of hugs and laughs followed, with everyone enjoying the sunshine & games. We headed into the big barn for the food and speeches (including a bizarre panda suit appearance courtesy of the best man!), which looked absolutely awesome, with a ton of effort gone into dressing up what was a working barn prior to the wedding. Kudos to everyone involved in that!
A special mention must go to Alfie the Boston Terrier; the real star of the day and Emily & Jack’s beloved pooch. If you fall in love with his cute little face, you can follow him on instagram here! Ha!
The dancefloor really kicked off big time, an amazing crowd that just went for it! With glittery faces, crazy outfits, that panda suit and crowd surfing; what more could you want? That’s enough talk from me, head down to see a tiny selection of the images from their day. Enjoy, and contact me if you want a wedding photographer who stays well into the late night action and captures the atmosphere and essence of the party!
