I love a Christmas wedding, they always have a lovely feel to them, and Sophia and Sam’s Christmas wedding at Polurrian Bay Hotel in Mullion was no exception…
The Polurrian Bay Hotel is perched in a beautiful spot right on the coast at Mullion, and is a fantastic place for a wedding. Sadly the weather wasn’t quite on our side for most of the day, with the sun just making a brief appearance right before it set. But Sophia and Sam, and their wonderful friends and family, didn’t let this dampen spirits in the slightest.
Emotions were running high in the ceremony, especially for Sam! I love it when the groom isn’t afraid to show his emotions, and it just elevated an already warm and moving ceremony to see how much it meant for him to marry Sophia.
After braving the elements for a few relaxed portraits, and a very unexpected glimpse of the sun in the middle of the wedding breakfast, we had some fantastic speeches followed by a top effort on the dance floor.
It was a pleasure to hang out with Sophia and Sam, and their whole wedding crew, at the Polurrian Bay Hotel, and I’d love to go back and shoot another wedding there in the future.
