Dancing, massive smiles, and a whole lotta love! That’s what Millie & Alastair brought to their garden wedding on this beautiful day in Cornwall.
To say they smashed it would be a huge understatement! Millie & Ali danced and laughed their way through every part of the day and it was an absolute pleasure to be their wedding photographer.
We started out at Millie’s family home, nestled right on the water; what a stunning place to start. After the relaxed morning prep we headed the few minutes down the road to the local church at Devoran. A really warm and funny vicar led the ceremony and kept the energy going through. Roughly one million hugs and a ton of confetti later, we zoomed over to Mylor to the reception, which was held in a giant tipi in the private gardens of a family friend. It. Was. Beautiful.
Millie & Ali’s friends and family kept such a strong atmosphere going throughout the day; energy levels were high, everyone was buzzing and having a great time. Alastair’s family brought the Carribean vibes with them; the sun shone and people danced!
Top food, a quality funk/soul band and DJ, photobooth, a campervan cocktail bar and a late evening sparkler run rounded everything off just perfectly. It was also fab to work alongside Hannah from HannahFilms, and I’ll definitely be recommending her to my future couples.
I love working with couples that plan really individual days, and this was one of them. Holding your reception in a garden isn’t the usual way to go, but it definitely worked amazingly and contributed to such a relaxed and fun atmosphere.

A huge thank you goes to Millie & Ali for being so damn fun to hang out with for the day! That’s enough from me, I’ll let a small selection of the images do the rest of the talking.
