Porth En Alls is a very unique venue…
Porth en Alls is a strange but brilliant mixture of an old world, grand manor right on the coast at Prussia Cove, but that has been a little neglected and become quite rustic and, most definitely, full of character. It’s brilliant for weddings and superb for wedding photography!
As I walked down the 5 minute path from the car park, down to the house, the first thing that hit me was what felt like 40mph winds! It was a grey, stormy, windy day, but luckily Dale & Nikki had the entire house to play with so it wasn’t a problem.
I started the day in ‘the workshop’ with Nikki, her bridesmaids and Mum. They were an absolute joy to be around, and it was all very good fun but also very emotional for all involved. The emotions were on display all day, and some tears were shed, especially during the ceremony. Later on, they had some great music, and everyone got stuck in on the dance floor. It was a seriously cool day, and I’m so thankful to everyone for being so welcoming to me, and to Dale and Nikki for allowing me access into their lives for one special day.
Update: This wedding day is now a few years old, and I’ve since blogged another Prussia Cove wedding here, check it out if you want to see more Porth en Alls goodness!
