With only one wedding left to wind up 2015 for me, I thought I would take a little retrospective look back over some of my favourites from the year.
*Update: you can see more recent ‘best of’ collections here for 2018 and 2019*
It’s been a cracking year for me, and I’ve met some amazing couples and been to some brilliant venues. I’m really looking forward to 2016, with plenty of bookings in already, and some awesome couples that I can’t wait to hang out with!
To all of the couples that I’ve shot this year, and all of the ones to come next year; I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the trust that you give me in letting me capture your wedding day through my eyes. It is a joy to be included in such an important event and to witness and capture the emotions, connections, atmosphere and story of the day in images. It’s also brilliant how much variety I get to see in weddings; you really can do pretty much anything you want! Weddings are not bound to traditions like they used to be – be yourselves, above all else!
If you are getting married in 2016 and dread the thought of having the traditional, cheesy wedding photographer at your wedding day; get in touch! I capture the event as it happens, without stopping anything, without being bossy, and definitely without ever asking you to say cheese! You can have a few (very) relaxed portraits if you want – or not! You can have a few (painless) group shots if you want, or not! I urge all of my couples to have the wedding day they want and not to stick to the traditions and expectations that used to be linked to weddings.
Get in touch soon for 2016 weddings – the diary is getting full quickly!
